Welcome to Commander League at Board Game Barrister

Build special League decks each week to earn points. When our league concludes, participants will receive promo card prizes!

LEAGUE PARTICIPATION
All players in our weekly Commander events are eligible to enter the league and earn points–there is no additional entry fee for league. Check in with your tournament organizer to enter the league and to log your weekly deckbuilding points.

LEAGUE POINTS

Earn a league point when you play a Commander game with a deck that satisfies a deckbuilding option for your league. (Max one per week. Each deckbuilding point can be earned once.)

Bloomburrow, August 9 – September 13
(Bayshore Location Only)

  • 001: Your deck must contain 25 creatures with the Mouse, Rabbit or Raccoon subtypes.
  • 002: Your deck must contain 30 creatures with the Rat, Squirrel or Frog subtypes.
  • 003: Your deck must contain 20 cards that allow one or more opponents to create tokens or draw cards. (no matter the other card effects)
  • 004: Your deck must contain 12 cards with the Forage keyword action or the phrase “Sacrifice a food” in their rules text.
  • 005: Your deck must contain 25 cards with Valiant, Heroic, Prowess or Magecraft.
  • 006: Your deck must contain 12 Enchantments with the “Class” subtype.
  • 007: Your deck must contain 18 Sorcery cards printed in Bloomburrow or Bloomburrow Commander Decks. (any printing counts). Seasons count x3 toward this challenge.
  • 008: Your deck must contain at least 20 different real-life animal subtypes. (Ape, Badger, Bat, Bear, Boar, Camel, Caribou, Cat, Crab, Crocodile, Elephant, Elk, Ferret, Fox, Frog, Fish, Goat, Hippo, Horse, Hyena, Insect, Jellyfish, Lizard, Mole, Mongoose, etc)
